Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and companionship to clients in their homes
Encourage and support clients to maintain as much independence as possible with their care
Follow care plans developed by our Registered Nurses and assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Support clients with medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or errands
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Follow infection control and safety policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey
Current CPR certification
Experience in providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes

Additional Requirements:

Physical examination and PPD (tuberculosis) test within the past 12 months
MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination
Valid Social Security Number (SSN) and/or valid Immigration Documents (if applicable)

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
